Dear Fellow Harvard Alumni:
Susan and I have survived Hurricane Ian and all is well in sunny Vero Beach. I’m sure many of you are finalizing your annual
migration south to Vero.
This letter is intended to get you excited about the upcoming season’s events that your Harvard Club of Vero Beach has planned
for you. Please get your calendars out, or iPhone, and save the following dates. We will use email as our primary means of
communicating with you. Also, please check out our website at www.HarvardClubofVeroBeach.com. The website will have an
up-to-date calendar of events, photos of past events, links to many other Harvard sites, and much more useful information.
Our new club administrator, Emilia Muniz, will assist us with the various events and administrative duties that are required.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Emilia with questions or if you need assistance with anything Club-related. Her email is emilsters@gmail.com. That information is also on the website.
So, here is our calendar of events as it stands right now. Expect some tweaking as things get closer.
Opening Welcome Back Party | Monday, November 14, 2022 5:00-7:00
This year the party will be held at The Environmental Learning Center (ELC). This event is a great way to see old
friends and meet new ones. The venue is unique with a terrific campus right on the lagoon. Cocktails and
hors d’oeuvres will be served. Cost $50.00 per person.
Harvard/Yale Football Game | Saturday, November 19, 2022 11:30 (12:00 Kickoff) | Quail’s The Pointe
Come cheer on the Crimson and enjoy a terrific “tail gate” luncheon buffet with an ice cream bar at halftime. Harvard
and Yale have been competing against each other in football since1875. What better way to enjoy a fall afternoon.
HYP Annual Golf Outing - Monday, February 6, 2023 at Bent Pine Country Club - 11:30 lunch with a shotgun
start to follow. Harvard won last year in a very close match. Drinks and snacks to follow play with trophy presentation.
Cost of $100 per person includes lunch, green’s fees and card.
All Ivy Party | Location and Date TBD
Mix and mingle with 7 other Vero Ivy School Alumni. A great party with lots of appetizers and a cash bar. Be sure to
wear your Crimson. This is the 6 th annual All Ivy party and is always great fun.
Breakfast on the Porch | Quail River Club
We are still working out the details for these very popular events. We plan on holding several breakfast events through
the winter season, with each one hosting a distinguished speaker at breakfast on the porch starting at 8:00 AM. We have
been doing this for the last few years and it has been a great success. More to follow. Look for emails and also watch
our website.
So, as you can see, we have planned an exciting, informative and fun season of events. We encourage each of you to mark your
calendars and get online at www.HarvardClubofVeroBeach.com to reserve the events that interest you.
We also encourage you to join the Harvard Club of Vero Beach for an annual cost of $75. This can also be done online. The $75
helps support your Club’s various administrative costs (approximately $3000//year).

November 14th, the Harvard/Yale football game on November 19th, as well as the other terrific events we have planned for you.
