Shotgun starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. (participants should arrive by 8:00)

TEAMS: Organize your own foursome or, if you wish, we will find one for you.

FORMAT: Scramble, every player hits every shot.  Tee assignments to be determined by age and handicap.

PRIZES: HARVARD-YALE-PRINCETON Trophy will be awarded to winning Club.
Complimentary golf balls in each cart.

FEES:  $100 per golfer!  Includes greens fees, carts, lunch and prizes. Better than ever!!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

On the day of the tournament, please plan to arrive at the Vero Beach Country Club no later than 8:00 a.m.  Leave your clubs at the “bag drop” where they will be taken and placed on your assigned cart.  You will also be directed to the men’s locker room and practice tee.  If you did not arrange your own foursome, you will be given the names of those in the foursome in which you are playing.  Tee-off is at 8:30 sharp (shotgun), with all players driving from your assigned tees.  Players are to play from the Pewter (middle) tees unless your age plus handicap = 100 or more.  If your total is >100, you may tee off from the forward tees with no change in handicap.  Vero Beach CC Pro, Randy Hedgecock, will provide team handicaps and further details of play that morning.  Prizes will be awarded during lunch.  We expect this year’s event will be the best ever!

DIRECTIONS TO VERO BEACH COUNTRY CLUB

If you’re coming from US 1 heading north, you turn right at 4th Street and Indian River Boulevard.  Stay on Indian River Boulevard until you come to Royal Palm Place.  Turn left on Royal Palm Place.  Turn right on Country Club Drive.  Vero Beach Country Club is at the intersection of Country Club Drive and 30th Street.

If you’re heading south on US 1 (from Sebastian), turn left on 53rd Street, then right on Indian River Boulevard past two traffic lights, at the third traffic light turn right on Royal Palm Place.  Turn right on Country Club Drive.  Vero Beach Country Club is at the intersection of Country Club Drive and 30th Street.

From Interstate 95, you would take Exit #68 West.  Stay on Route 60, across US 1, come to Indian River Boulevard.  Turn left on Indian River Boulevard, left on Royal Palm Place.  Turn right on Country Club Drive.  Vero Beach Country Club is at the intersection of Country Club Drive and 30th Street.

DOUBTFUL WEATHER

If the weather that morning looks “iffy”, you can phone the Pro-Shop (567-3320, ext. 119) to check.  Our rain date is Monday, February 11 (hopefully we won’t need it!).  Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds for cancellations after Monday, January 28.  If you have any questions, call Bill Rose – Harvard Club – 231-3044.
